compared with less than 10 (cases are lunched per year) during the

可以理解存在一种倾向总结说DSM的存在与活力应予肯认(endorse)并维持。
It is understandable that there exists a tendency to conclude that
the existence of the DSM should be endorsed
while its robustness (should be )maintained.
