A pipeline caught fire after drilling work was carried
out as part of the construction of the China-funded railway
project, killing the worker, local media said
据当地媒体表示，中国资助的高铁工程在进行钻探时，一条油气管
道起火，导致工人丧生。
The US$6-billion railway, which links Jakarta to Bandung
, is currently China’s only Belt and Road project in the country
这条连结雅加达跟万隆的高铁，工程费用达60亿美金，是中国在印
尼唯一的一项“一带一路”项目。
A fire broke out on a pipeline in western Indonesian on
Tuesday, killing a Chinese construction worker.
周二，印尼西部管道发生大火，炸死一名中国建筑工人。
West Java police chief Rudy Sufahriadi said the blaze broke
out near a China-funded high-speed rail construction site that
will connect the country’s capital, Jakarta, to Bandung.
西爪哇省警察局长 Rudy Sufahriadi表示，大火在中国资助的高铁
工地附近爆发，这条高铁路线连结的是首都雅加达与万隆。
The US$6-billion high-speed railway is currently China’s
only Belt and Road project in the country.
这条耗资60亿美元的高速铁路是中国目前在印尼唯一的“一带一路
”项目。
Indonesian state oil and gas company Pertamina, which
operates the pipeline, halted fuel distribution through the
pipeline temporarily, said Dewi Sri Utami, a company spokeswoman.
印尼国家油气公司Pertamina 的发言人Dewi Sri Utami表示，该条

She said the company would not comment on the cause of the
fire until after it has carried out an investigation and is
focusing for now on putting out the blaze.

Video footage showed thick black smoke rising from one side
of a highway and engulfing part of a busy tollway.
