基本上看完这篇资料的相关段落，美国这个detached wing，
直翻的话应该叫独立侧翼，独立编队之类的，
加上他对于火力的要求，基本上这个概念就是battle line的延伸，
只不过是切割出来的机动性更高的battle line，
用来在battle line的对决中争取优势，
支援轻单位甚至驱赶(里面只推荐重巡编队这么做)则是副业。
后面那篇英国的Advanced Forces，更接近前卫的定义，
日德兰海战是英军的advanced force被诱饵拉走撞上敌人主力，
主力舰队的投入才会隔那么久。
英军资料里面提到交战部属里对BC的指示:(正航战/反航战)

这边的详细指示恐怕才是美军所谓的detached wing战术，
和advanced forces两者距离量级是不同的。
我看美军的资料里面对于侦查反侦察的部分有另外的部属，
详见"Distant Screen"与"Covering Force"。

我个人比较能接受把英军用的advanced forces翻译成前卫舰队，
虽然即使如此，仍跟中文语意的前卫战的关系，有些脱节，
要把慢速战列舰以外的都算入前卫战，这种包山包海的用法，
其实我也不反对，但这用法和detached wing就没啥关联，
双方都没有"前卫舰队"也可以打前卫战呀..
(更不用说空母根本不算在detached wing里面)
下面算离题说一下。
: Fast and slow battleships do not ordinarily operate in the same battle line.
: 快速战列舰和慢速战列舰通常不会在同个战列线一起作战
这边其实就暗示了快速战舰也是battle line的一部分了
: 前卫舰队的组成
: The Detached Wing (if employed) composed of fast battleships, large or heavy

: 1231. When the enemy is employing a detached wing of battleships or battle

: 可以看到前卫舰队是有支援已方轻型舰队与驱赶敌方轻型舰队以破坏敌人的早期部署
: 可见前卫舰队会参与轻型舰队的对抗
: 所以前卫舰队的对战通常会跟轻型舰队的对抗是同时进行
: 当然这也是因为前卫舰队"够快"能支援轻型舰队
这段其实我重点反而会放在他把战舰与重巡分开讲的部分，
战舰是部属在侧翼或相对敌人detached wing的方向，
重巡才是摆在前方并且能考虑用来驱赶对方轻单位。
