写作文时 有两句被朋友改掉
但他的解释我也不确定
1.Many rapid growths of cities causes convenient of life.
朋友是建议改成bring convenient to our life
他说cause是导致后果
所以真不能用cause?
2.Not only can Chinese food restaurants you find,
but also people can find western-style restaurants as well.
(你不只能找到中餐厅 也能找到西餐厅)
朋友说有点怪怪的
但也不知道怎么改...

第一句先不管cause或bring的用法，就有其他文法错误但我也觉得bring比较合适些，cause常用在负面的事件

1. 换个角度来看。(比如你父亲昨天买了台最潮的新机车给你)你会不会说"My father caused me happiness."(或者你直翻成中文)这不是"真不真"的问题。整体意思上用 cause 确实怪异。http://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/cause_2仔细读字义说明

第二句去掉as well，它不会与not only...but also...连用，因它们意思相近

cause 通常用在负面，然后应该用convenience 而不是convenientYou can find not only Chinese restaurant but alsowestern restaurant.
