福音：玛九9-13
耶稣从那里前行，看见一个人在税关那里坐着，名叫玛窦，对他说：
“跟随我！”
他就起来跟随了耶稣。
当耶稣在屋里坐席时，有许多税吏和罪人也来同耶稣和他的门徒一起坐席。
法利塞人看见，就对他的门徒说：
“你们的老师为什么同税吏和罪人一起进食呢？”
耶稣听见了，就说：
“不是健康的人需要医生，而是有病的人。
你们去研究一下：‘我喜欢仁爱胜过祭献’是什么意思；
我不是来召义人，而是来召罪人。”
Feast of Saint Matthew, Apostle and evangelist
Gospel MT 9:9-13
As Jesus passed by,
he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the customs post.
He said to him,
"Follow me."
And he got up and followed him.
While he was at table in his house,
many tax collectors and sinners came
and sat with Jesus and his disciples.
The Pharisees saw this and said to his disciples,
"Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"
He heard this and said,
"Those who are well do not need a physician, but the sick do.
Go and learn the meaning of the words,
I desire mercy, not sacrifice.
I did not come to call the righteous but sinners."

福音朗読　マタイによる福音书　9章9～13节
イエスはそこをたち、通りがかりに、
マタイという人が収税所に座っているのを见かけて、
“わたしに従いなさい”と言われた。
彼は立ち上がってイエスに従った。
イエスがその家で食事をしておられたときのことである。
徴税人や罪人も大势やって来て、イエスや弟子たちと同席していた。
ファリサイ派の人々はこれを见て、弟子たちに、
“なぜ、あなたたちの先生は徴税人や罪人と一绪に食事をするのか”と言った。
イエスはこれを闻いて言われた。
“医者を必要とするのは、丈夫な人ではなく病人である。
‘わたしが求めるのは怜れみであって、
いけにえではない’とはどういう意味か、
行って学びなさい。
わたしが来たのは、正しい人を招くためではなく、罪人を招くためである。”
