使他们完全合而为一
福音：若十七20-26
那时，耶稣举目向天，祈求说：
“圣父，我不但为门徒祈求，而且也为那些因他们的话而信从我的人祈求。
愿众人都合而为一！
父啊！愿他们在我们内合而为一，就如你在我内，我在你内，
为叫世界相信是你派遣了我。
我将你赐给我的光荣赐给了他们，为叫他们合而为一，
就如我们原为一体一样。
我在他们内，你在我内，使他们完全合而为一，
为叫世界知道是你派遣了我，并且你爱了他们，如爱了我一样。
父啊！你所赐给我的人，我愿我在那里，他们也同我在一起，
使他们享见你所赐给我的光荣，
因为你在创世之前，就爱了我。
公义的父啊！世界没有认识你，我却认识了你，
这些人也知道是你派遣了我。
我已将你的名宣示给他们了，我还要宣示，
好使你爱我的爱，在他们内，我也在他们内。”
反省
耶稣祈求众人在主内合而为一，
这个合一指的是人真实的活出了天主的肖像，
与天主有相近的性格思维与行动。
在这合一中必然会充满对天主的认识，
这个认识是在爱中完成的。
每个在爱中与主合一的灵魂，
必然也会渴望与被派遣的子一样完成父的使命，让父受光荣。
正如一个母亲在对婴儿的爱中认识了他的宝贝也认识了自己，
更在母亲的形象中活出了天主的爱的肖像。

Gospel JN 17:20-26
Lifting up his eyes to heaven, Jesus prayed saying:
“I pray not only for these,
but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
so that they may all be one,
as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
that they also may be in us,
that the world may believe that you sent me.
And I have given them the glory you gave me,
so that they may be one, as we are one,
I in them and you in me,
that they may be brought to perfection as one,
that the world may know that you sent me,
and that you loved them even as you loved me.
Father, they are your gift to me.
I wish that where I am they also may be with me,
that they may see my glory that you gave me,
because you loved me before the foundation of the world.
Righteous Father, the world also does not know you,
but I know you, and they know that you sent me.
I made known to them your name and I will make it known,
that the love with which you loved me
may be in them and I in them.”
