最近看一本文法书,里面写到
it doesn't matter只能放句首,然后加名词子句
书中例句:
(O) It doesn't matter how he passed it.
(X) How he passed it doesn't matter.
(O) It doesn't matter whether he likes it or not.
(X) Whether he likes it or not doesn't matter.
可是我在其他书上看到这样的句子:
Whatever happened to Jack doesn't matter. We should go find him now.
可是上面这个句子前方的Whatever happened to Jack的确是名词子句
为什么他可以这样用呢? 还是说根本就没有it doesn't matter只能放句首的用法?
