‘would have been’ 为假设性但没有发生过. ‘were’为过去发生过文章内一句话 ‘the owners HAD PLANNED to send to China’ 计画性 但没有实施

100应该是估计值 所以过去纸或许最高99/吨 所以文章用would have been 100 事实是相反没有到100 所以这样写比较合理

是楼上说的那个意思没错内文的意思是"一年前本该会高到100左右"但事实上则因为某些理由没高到那样作者只是想表达当时的量"本来应该可以高到那个程度的"如此而已就跟我为了表达某个事故严重的程度时，常常会说"我本来该死在那场事故的"....但事实是我当然没有死在那场事故(不然我怎会活着站在这里讲这件事

上面理解错误要了解文章前后文的意思 文章是说今年1月起中国禁止进口各种废弃物 所以今年的废纸价格才会暴跌换言之 去年同样的废纸是能卖到100元的 这是事实所以那句话的意思是 如果这些纸是去年卖掉的话 就能卖但现在只能卖5元以下(因为禁令的关系)上面漏字 是能卖100元 但现在只能卖5元(因为禁令的关系) 所以只有假设 但没有和过去事实相反这里的假设指的是“假设这些纸是去年卖掉的”

我重看了一下完整的文章，楼上faerie说的应该才是对的作者在最后那段并不是在说普遍价差，而是指一团现在的废纸如果放到当时可以卖多少而已(你也可以想成现在市场上的废纸在市价一百元时根本没被卖掉，否则它们也就不会出现在现在这个地方了

跟存放完全没关系 只是说同等的纸 不是真的指放在那个特定位置的纸
