Determined a bout of the flue wouldn`t ruin his only chance to see his son
and daughter.
这个句子如果真的是分词构句的话,其实应该是" ,determined (that) a bout of the
flue wouldn't ruin his only chance to see his son and daughter."。
"He was determined that a bout of the flue wouldn't ruin his only chance to
see his son and daugther."
He was determined that a bout of the flue wouldn't ruin his only chance
to see his son and daugther."
He determined that a bout of the flue wouldn't ruin his only chance
to see his son and daugther."
determined后头没有加逗号,那就变成"determined,a bout of the flue wouldn't ruin
his only chance to see his son and daugther."。
总不可能下定决心的是a bout of the flue吧
顺带问一个问题,我总觉得应该是a bout of the flu而不是a bout of the flue,因为
一般说流感发作了就是说a bout of the
flu,写成a bout of the flue这种用法我还是第一次看到;我特别去查了一下原文的
THIS IS A RUSH TRANSCRIPT. THIS COPY MAY NOT
BE IN ITS FINAL FORM AND MAY BE UPDATED.",所以我会直接把a bout of the flue
