有句话看不太明白：

还有social death我查过英文指的是"不被广泛大众接受的行为"，
不是社交阻碍之类的意思吗？

social death直译是“社交死亡”，就是“你逊得没救了，不会有人想要跟你做朋友”之类的意思it would have been a social death to have been seenwith your parents:被别人看到你跟父母在一起，是丢脸到家的一件事

现在的大学生缺乏独立自主的渴望。 我上大学的时候被看见和父母在一起就不用混了。现在变成很正常的一件事。
