福音：玛五13-16
耶稣向他的门徒们说：
“你们是地上的盐，盐若失了味，可用什么使它再咸呢？
它再毫无用途，只好抛在外边，任人践踏罢了。
你们是世界的光，建在山上的城，是不能隐藏的。
人点灯，并不是放在斗底下，而是放在灯台上，照耀屋中所有的人。
照样，你们的光也当在人前照耀，
好使他们看见你们的善行，光荣你们在天之父。”
反省
山中圣训以光盐的比喻做结语是一个更深的邀请；
邀请人去反省生命本质的问题。
提味是盐的本质，照亮是光的本质。如果本质没有呈现那生命还算什么？
许多人的生活品质计较的是活的多舒服，而并没有关心生命的需求！
我的生命的意义为何？我愿为世界留下什么？
基督徒的生命更是如此，我身上的基督肖像是什么？
光很贴切的呈现了基督的真理，盐反映了基督的性格。
福音中的基督形象之丰富，可有的学的了！

Gospel MT 5:13-16
Jesus said to his disciples:
“You are the salt of the earth.
But if salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned?
It is no longer good for anything
but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.
You are the light of the world.
A city set on a mountain cannot be hidden.
Nor do they light a lamp and then put it under a bushel basket;
it is set on a lampstand,
where it gives light to all in the house.
Just so, your light must shine before others,
that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your heavenly Father.”
