Ground collision between two Kenya Airways Embraer ERJ-190’s at Nairobi Airport; both aircraft seriously damaged
On 9 February, two Kenya Airways Embraer ERJ-190 aircraft collided while on the ground at Nairobi Airport.
Apparently 5Y-KYR jumped off her chocks during a “ground run”.
The crew then tried to avoid the aircraft from hitting hangar walls, but the aircraft hit a parked Embraer (5Y-FFF) instead.
Both aircraft received major damage.
简单来说，就是两架肯尼亚航空的ERJ-190发生地面碰撞事故，注册号5Y-KYR在地面的时候跳离轮档
然后机师避免了飞机撞上机库，但是却撞上了停在地面的另一架ERJ-190, 5Y-FFF。
两架飞机都受损严重，其中KYR那架预计要大修
