连恩是享誉国际的摇滚乐手兼重量级音乐制作人，尽管名利双收，人生却失控暴走。巨星
风采背后的糜烂生活，不但让挚爱的妻子带着儿子离去，也让连恩开始思考人生的真义。
他抛下一切逃离纽约，将自己和世界隔绝起来，开始一段离群索居的自我放逐。没想到平
静的隐居生活，却杀来两个不速之客：一个是许久不见的儿子麦斯，带着自组乐团的创作
母带来向老爸讨教；另一个是曾经操刀制作专辑的歌手柔伊，爆红之后无所适从，只想有
个懂她的人能倾诉。面对突来的改变，连恩失落已久的摇滚魂，即将被这两个闯入的年轻
人唤醒，全数倾巢而出！
Len Black is a successful music producer. He’s got it made. And he’s
completely miserable. One day, Len flees New York City to his house upstate
to start a period of self-imposed exile, walling himself off from the world
to get some perspective.
It doesn’t work out that way. Max, Len’s twenty year-old son, drives up to
check in on his dad, and maybe get him to listen to his band’s new demo
tape. Shortly after Max’s arrival, the pair is joined by Zoe, a pop star of
Len’s making, who crashes back into his Len’s life, demanding answers.
Len’s goal was simple avoidance, like a kid hiding in his tree fort. Now the
fort is crowded with people who want something from him.
