台湾新北市八仙乐园周六（6月27日）晚间发生爆炸大火，造成至少200人受伤。
新北市消防局一名发言人表示，八仙乐园当时举办彩色派对，舞台现场喷出各种彩色粉末，据信是彩色粉末造成粉尘爆炸引起大火。
新北消防局说，八仙乐园火警送医人数228人，其中重伤96人，轻伤132人，创下新北市救灾史上受伤人数最多的事件。
台湾《中央社》报道说，大约三分之二的伤患为严重烧伤，有些人遭到40%的烧伤。
报道说，位于新北市八里的八仙水上乐园周六晚上举办彩色派对活动，大量燃灼性不明的彩色粉末扩散在天空中。
当地时间晚上8:30左右，DJ正在台上带动气氛，台下穿着各式泳衣的游客跟着音乐摆动起舞，现场彩色烟雾粉末弥漫，没想到突然从舞台正前方窜出火光。
报道说，粉尘爆炸引发大火的时候大约有1,000多人在舞台现场。
报道引述现场目击者说，大火瞬间就烧过来，舞台前游客走避不及，现场很乱，不过大火来得快也去得快，很快就熄灭了。
新北市市长朱立伦晚间10点左右抵达现场，并表示要彻底调查起火原因，追究责任，八仙乐园立即关闭停业，等待调查真相。
BBC中文网台湾特约记者严思祺介绍说，新光医院院长侯胜茂表示，许多人伤势严重，医院全力抢救中，不少人严重灼伤，可能有生命危险。
台湾总统府发言人陈以信表示，马英九总统第一时间得知后，非常关心民众安危，立即致电行政院长毛治国与新北市长朱立伦，指示全力救援并提供必要协助。
台湾卫福部长蒋丙煌表示，这是第一次在开放空间发生这种意外，未来将会研议加强管理娱乐用途的含有金属彩色粉末。
