1.Peter is taller than all the other children in the family.
=>Peter is the tallest "child" in the family.
2.Vivian is better than any other student in her class.
=>Vivian is the best "student" in her class.

2020-03-15 23:02:00前后文句句意清楚时，可以省略，the+最高级可以当作(抽象)名词做使用，你省略读者只会自己脑补一个最容易解释的名词补回去而已，以第一句为例，读可可能会补person而不会补到你原先写的child，第二句尚且可以而你现在都只有拿两个短句来问能不能省略，建议你不要随意省略。省略的原则永远都是跟前后文意做比较为求精简而省，这里其实根本不需要(也不建议)考虑省略与否。

2020-03-15 23:31:00Peter is the tallest in the family -->the tallest"what"? 是家里所有成员里头最高？(也比家里所有成人高？)还是？ 语意不清Vivian is the best in her class. -->同前。(the best wwhat? chest player? runner?)"因为这些题目..."->换句话说只是个无详细内文的句子，那么就不要省略，不然就如前述只是语意不清的句子。
