有请版上厉害的高手帮忙了
“欲哭无泪”只能很白话的翻吗？
例如网络上有：
1. tried to weep, but failed to shed a tear.
2. (He) felt like weeping but had no tears.
3.One wanted to cry but [yet] had no tears (left).
4. too deep for tears
有4这种用法吗？
实在想不出除了直译以外的翻法，
