Etihad Airways on the verge of cancelling Airbus A350 order

Another financially struggling airline, Etihad is on the verge of cancelling
Airbus A350 orders and outsourcing lounges in a bid to cut costs.
The airline already handed over its London Heathrow airport lounge to ‘No 1
Lounges’ and in the process of handing off many its airport lounges.
From next week, ‘No1 lounges’ will take control of Sydney and Melbourne
Etihad lounges..
With the expansion plan, this year June, Etihad placed an order 165 jets
including;
Airbus A350: 62
Boeing 787: 52
Boeing 777: 26
Airbus A321neo: 26
Airbus A320neo: 10
Mounting losses made the airline to strategise its plans, and cancelled or
defer 25 Boeing planes in June.
According reports, Etihad also cancelled all training requirements for the
A350 and delivery of the A350 simulator.
The airline also trimming down its fleet size to 111 from 121 in and cutting
the routes from 117 to just 75. Since 2016, 4,150 employees have lost their
job at Etihad.
