O: You seem to know more than anybody else here.
E: If you only knew how little I knew about things that matter.
O: What things that matter?
E: You know what things.
O: Why are you telling me this?
E: Cuz I thought you should know.
O: Cuz you thought I should know?
E: Cuz I wanted you to know. Cuz I wanted you to know.
.
如同在获得第九时就奥斯卡最佳改编剧本时James Ivory老爷爷所发表的得奖感言:“ A story familiar to most of us, whether we’re straight or gay, or somewhere in between, we’ve all gone through first love, I hope, and come out the other side mostly intact.”
“We rip out so much of ourselves to be cured of things faster that we go bankrupt by the age of thirty and have less to offer each time we start with someone new. But to feel nothing so as not to feel anything-What a waste! Right now. There’s sorrow, pain. Don’t kill it and with it the joy you’ve felt.”
.
