Two Actresses in Talks to Play Sarah Connor in "Terminator" Reboot
Paramount Pictures and director Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) are in the
middle of casting actors for the upcoming "Terminator" reboot and are in
talks with Emilia Clarke and Brie Larson (21 Jump Street) to play the role of
Sarah Connor.
Both actresses have tested for the production and are the current
frontrunners. Deadline says that Clarke may end up getting the role, mostly
because Taylor directed her on HBO's "Game of Thrones."
Regarding the plot of the reboot... Kyle Reese, the character played by
Michael Biehn in the original film, will appear in the new movie as well. So
it seems that time-traveling will be part of the story. Arnold Schwarzenegger
is already on board to reprise his role.
