Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Traumatic Brain Injury Research
The University of the British Columbia’s Faculty of Medicine is seeking
qualified candidates for a research-focused post-doctoral fellowship in
neuropsychology, with specialization in traumatic brain injury (TBI).
The fellow will participate in multiple grant-funded studies involving
various research methods (self-reported outcomes, cognitive testing, and
neuroimaging) and the fullspectrum of TBI severity. Clinical training in
adult neuropsychology (up to 20% effort) within the Vancouver Coastal Health
system may be available, depending on the fellow’s interest.
The tentative start date is September 6, 2016. This is a one-year fellowship
with the option of renewal for a second year, pending final budgetary approval.
The salary for the first year will be $43,000 plus benefits

Candidates should hold a PhD in psychology, neuropsychology, or a closely
related field. Applicants who have a strong statistical background and have
some experience with neuroimaging analysis (EEG, DTI, and/or volumetric studies)
are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants who have completed 1 or 2 years of post-doctoral training in
neuropsychology and are seeking specialized training in traumatic brain injury
research are also encouraged to apply.
