A 15% overlap at a 7 degree angle.
Each vehicle was traveling at 35 Mph at a closing speed of 70 Mph.
In this test,
the bullet driver's airbag failed to deploy.
(子弹车是金色 2002 Taurus) (气囊没爆)
(目标车是银色 2001 Taurus)
Causing the driver to contact hard surfaces during the crash.
The driver experienced over 100g when it struck the steering wheel.

还有oblique small overlap, 目的为了让撞击车辆不要弹开这方法可以更完整呈现一台车“有多硬”,而不是滑开泄力NHSTA就是用斜角小面积来打脸IIHS的小面积把IIHS的TSP+挑几台,用斜角重新撞,就发现IIHS的许多盲点,分数一堆都不一样,还写成论文发表备注:NHSTA是官方机构,讲话很有份量的
