but remained alert to make several good saves and command his area when
required.

4 B. Höwedes (star: 2.5)
Asked very few questions throughout, but was occasionally caught or dragged
out of position, highlighting him as Germany's only real defensive frailty.

Made several well-timed tackles to stop Brazil attacks in their tracks,
showing that he certainly hasn't lost any of his proficiency to play at

A solid first-half outing, in which he had very little to do. Stepped in when
