同学在练习写作的时候，
都知道英文名词前要使用的“冠词”有a, an, the三种。
但你知道有第四种吗？
答案就是“不加冠词”(zero article / null article)，
这也是一种正确用法喔！
今天就要整理一些“不加the”的范例给同学参考，一起来看看吧！
1. 提到“整个群体”(whole category)时，不加the
例如，若要选择养一种宠物，你想选狗狗，
应该说”Dogs can be great pets.”
复数名词Dogs前不加the，因为是“整个群体”。
同理，如果要表达”我不相信政客”，应该说”I do not trust politicians.”
那么，以下这句，可以怎么修改呢？
(错误) I like this grammar book because it explains everything so well.
After reading this book,
I can understand the nouns and the verbs much better.
I still need help with the adjectives.
(正确) nouns, verbs, adjectives都是“整个群体”，所以前面的the都要拿掉。
2. 提到不能被看到/摸到的“抽象名词”(abstract nouns)时，不加the
例如：
“A person’s future success depends on education.”
education前不加the.
其他abstract noun如advantage, curiosity, satisfaction等。
那么，以下这句，可以怎么修改呢？
(错误) There are many reasons for being homeless,
including the low education and the alcoholism.
(正确) education, alcoholism为“抽象名词”，前面的the都要拿掉。
