过往的面试经验从没有遇过assignment/paperwork
顶多要我分享会如何操作行销活动通常都是当面发表
昨天去一家日本网络公司应征community manager
台湾编制目前只有两人,直接跟country manager面试
面试约莫一小时的时间都是主管在问我问题
最后换我问问题的时候,我问了:在台湾市场的竞争者是谁? 要怎么跟竞争者做出区隔?
有没有近两年明确的行销策略与规划?
主管都把问题抛回给我:你觉得呢?
变成我在自问自答,所以我干脆也不问了
接着主管表示接下来会有assignment要请我回去做,我当场听了有点尴尬
但因为她也不打算当面说明内容,只说晚点会寄email给我,我也就说好
隔没多久就收到信(以下用XXXXXXX代替公司名称):
As mentioned in the meeting, here are the trial project details.
Purpose: (i) for you to understand more about XXXXXXX; (ii) for both of us to
understand each other's working styles
Content: (i) Build your own cooking community on XXXXXXX, (ii) analysis,
(iii) proposal (optional)
Period: 6st Dec - 17th Dec 2018
Expected results:
11th Dec: 5 new users posting recipes or Cooksnaps on XXXXXXX
17th Dec: 5 retained users + 5 new users posting recipes or Cooksnaps on
XXXXXXX
Bonus: 1 male user posting each week
User analysis at end of each week
[Optional] Proposal on 17th Dec
Tracker: attached is a simple spreadsheet to track your community
User analysis:
11th Dec: Pick and analyse one user who was acquired successfully. What is
his/her motivation sharing cooking experience on XXXXXXX? Any user feedback?
17th Dec: Pick and analyse one user who was retained successfully. What makes
him/her happy on XXXXXXX? More user feedback?
[Optional] Proposal: free topic. Below are ideas:
Design 4-quarter strategy to accelerate the growth of XXXXXXX mobile app users
Design community retention strategy
Catch-up call: Please provide available time slots for 11th & 17th Dec
assignment的时间是今天马上开始为期十天(这时间可能是因为她知道我待业中)
希望我在五天内可以找到五个新用户,后五天这五个用户要持续使用再找五个新用户
访问用户为什么使用XXXXXXX,使用的感想回馈,还有一份提案
十天内会有两次电话会议,中途跟她报告进度
我昨晚看到这封信就觉得有点太夸张,我第一次接到这种要求
要求candidate帮公司找十个新用户这有合理吗
这么多的要求(我说"多"是因为我只是第一次面试),而且也不是说做完这个就结束
昨天的第一次面试中,公司的规定、福利、薪资范围全都没提
而且主管说等我做完assignment之后,她觉得可以的话会pass给亚洲区总部(日本)
后面还有两关跟日本主管面试
昨晚问了很多朋友意见,有朋友说不要做,去tech_job黑特
也有朋友叫我开十个分身敷衍她XD,但还要PO十份食谱也太麻烦
有一位朋友说可以试试看
我想了一夜还是觉得这要求也太过分,早上起床就回信拒绝了
不知道是我太叛逆吗? 一般大家对于面试过程的assignment都是什么样的态度?
我是对于这种在面试时吃豆腐的企业不太有好感......
