9.A uniform solid sphere rolls down and incline. What must be the incline
angle if the linear accleration of the center of the sphere is to have a
magnitude of 0.15g? If a block slides down the incline at that angle with the
same 0.15g accleration, what is the coefficient of kinetic friction between
the block and the incline?
10.A uniform cube of side length L rests on a horizontal floor. A horizontal
push is applied perpendicularly on the middle line of one vertical face of the
cube at a distance h above the floor. As the push is slowly increased, the
cube will either begin to slide or to tip. Describe a method to determine the
coefficient of static friction between the cube and floor.
