The Minnesota Timberwolves have had to deal with a multitude of injuries this
season, but none has been more disappointing than the health issues of point
guard Ricky Rubio. After drafting Zach LaVine and trading for Andrew Wiggins
(aka the Bounce Bros), Rubio was supposed to bless fans with numerous lobs
and back door passes for dunks all season with the two rookies on the wings.

However, Rubio has managed to play in only 22 games this year and it looks

arthroscopic ankle surgery early next week, which will most likely keep him
sidelined until the opening of Timberwolves’ training camp next season.
