The former Yankees skipper held court with reporters before the Detroit
Tigers beat New York, 3-0, in Game 2 of the American League Championship
Series yesterday, and contrary to a report stating he wanted to get back into
the game and could end up a candidate in Boston, Torre said he has no plans
to manage.
“I don’t know where that came from,” Torre said. “Certainly not my camp.”
