我在理解上主要卡住的两个点是
1. 文中their conceptual ouput 的 "their"，是指什么?
是synaptically perturbed neural nets?
还是更前面出现的such attention?
2.文章中,that cadence in turn characterized by 的 "that"，是指什么?
是their conceptual output?
还是 the novelty? a quantitative indicator?
还是只是作为 reveal 后面接的另一个子句?
3."a frequency and a corresponding temporal clustering that is discernible"
这句指的是
a frequency that is discernible, and a corresponding temporal clustering that is discernible
还是
a frequency, and a corresponding temporal clustering that is discernible

1. 只有"nets"是复数，所以是第一个。更前面的"(such)attention"是单数当然重点是整体文意要合理2. "the thythm"。字典查candence的意思你应该就能了解为何that是指the thythm3. “(初次看)我会说(*1)”是你举的第二个。要100%精确的话就看paper的内容(比如paper里头在讲fractal dimension时就只有用在a corresponding temporal clustering上头)(*1) ... that is(单数)，所以that的先行词是单数名词。最有可能是"a ... clustering"(单一个项目，最靠近，且意思上也合。"a frequency"太基本了，大家都知道的东西，不需要额外用"限定关系子句"来特别指明/说明这是啥)。但是若作者将 a frequency and a ... clustering视为单一整也有可能(毕竟我不是读这行的，我只能猜)，所以我说要看paper之后的内容才能确定以上我都是从文意/字义去推导，不是靠套公式
