值得注意的是第一点后半部:
They can also be used to talk about things which we know are not true.
例:
I feel as if/though I'm dying.
She was acting as if/though she was in charge
这两个例句都表示“非事实”,但时态并没有“退后一步”。
再搭配底下第二点:
When we talk about things which we know are not true, we can use a past tense
with a present meaning after "as if/though". This emphasises the meaning of
unreality.
它说we "can" use a past tense ...,因此我认为这表示“可以”,但不强制。
综合上述,我认为"as if/though"表示“非事实”时,后面的时态要不要“退后一步”
应该都可以。
