最近买了全民英检主办单位出的的进阶学术英文写作
其中有提供范文和官方给的修正
其中有一段是这样修的:
误: ...have been working on educating their faculty and students
on such an educational program.
修: ...have been educating their faculty and students
with such an educational program.
解析是说这样介系词比较精准 不过我查牛津的高阶字典只有in和on的用法
而他后面又有一句用on:
In Taiwan, there is still much room for improvement when it comes to
educating people on the importance of gender equity.
请问究竟with是否为正确用法?
如果是的话请问该如何分辨该用哪个介系词呢?

我觉得with的意思是“使用”，不是跟着educate的连接词例如：I chop the onions with a sharp knife.我“用”锋利的刀子切洋葱原句的意思应该是：“用”这样的教育计划，教育学生而不是：“在(教育计画)这方面的议题上”，教育学生突然发现我第一句打错，不是连接词，是介系词
