大家好，刚刚看到朋友写的一句话，似乎怪怪的，但又不确定要怎么修改。
原文是: Do I need to separate these mails based on where they are being
sent to?
觉得怪的点在于 mails 后直接接上 based on, 我记得based on 是形容词，可以用来
修饰 separate 这个动作吗? 谢谢

虽然不懂中文文法怎么解释 不过这句型很常见 基于什么来做什么事

那边有省略which are 这个用法类似depend

我认为不对喔 绝对不是形容mail 而是整个动作 较类似 onthe basis of, according to之类用法 到底叫什么词性= =喔喔喔 就that is based on 形容整个动作

省略which+beV

based on这个是用来限定mail，不是来说明separate请用accroding to, in accordance with,.. 类似这种或是The way to separate these mails is based on ...

我觉得整句没有问题，based on 在这是被动用法based on 确实是用来说明separate mails 这个动作。according to 也行啦，the way 那句不是像是聊天会用到

感觉文法没问题，只是句子太冗长 based on where they...那直接改成by their destination就简洁多了
