While walking in the elementary school campus in the evening, I noticed a
bird sitting under a tree beside the path. As I walked by, it didn't shy away
and just watched me pass. I thought it might be injured and unable to fly. On
my second lap, it was still there on the ground, which made me more certain
that it was hurt. I felt a bit sorry for it. On the third lap, I realized it
was a little bird, waiting for its mother to come back with food. Its beak
opened wide, receiving food from its mother. The mother bird seemed a bit
wary, glancing at me, but she saw I was just walking by and didn't do
anything. On the fourth lap, the little bird was still on the ground waiting
for its mother. I walked by again. The little bird was not yet able to fly
well, unaware of the dangers of the world, looking at me innocently without
any fear, as if wanting me to play with it!
