福音（主人到来时，发现醒寤著的人，是有福的。）
恭读圣路加福音 12:35-38
那时候，耶稣对他的门徒说：“你们要把腰束起，把灯点着，如同等候自己的主人由婚筵回来，为的是主人来到，一敲门，立刻就给他开门。主人来到时，遇见醒寤著的那些仆人，是有福的！我实在告诉你们：主人要束上腰，请他们坐席，亲自前来伺候他们。他二更来也罢，三更来也罢，若遇见这样，那些仆人才是有福的！”──上主的话。
Gospel LK 12:35-38
Jesus said to his disciples:
“Gird your loins and light your lamps
and be like servants who await their master’s return from a wedding,
ready to open immediately when he comes and knocks.
Blessed are those servants
whom the master finds vigilant on his arrival.
Amen, I say to you, he will gird himself,
have them recline at table, and proceed to wait on them.
And should he come in the second or third watch
and find them prepared in this way,
blessed are those servants.”

（そのとき、イエスは弟子たちに言われた。）“腰に帯を缔め、ともし火をともしていなさい。主人が婚宴から帰って来て戸をたたくとき、すぐに开けようと待っている人のようにしていなさい。主人が帰って来たとき、目を覚ましているのを见られる仆たちは幸いだ。はっきり言っておくが、主人は帯を缔めて、この仆たちを食事の席に着かせ、そばに来て给仕してくれる。主人が真夜中に帰っても、夜明けに帰っても、目を覚ましているのを见られる仆たちは幸いだ。”
