: 1. Thanks for broaden my horizons!
: Maybe I found a better place to read Athanasius' works and letters:
: The parapraph 14 is probably what you called "A defence of the Nicene Creed."
: But well, the information is too much for me to seriously study currently.
I will suggest you go to ccel.org to find npnf204 for further information.
Another choice is a website: theologychina.weebly.com. There are many information there.
: 2. Why I think this sentence causes confusions:
: "it is true to say that the Son was created too, but this took place when
: He became man"
: Does it imply that a Person of the Holy Trinity does not exist before a time?
I think you have still no clue about Christ's one person and two natures.
Christ has both Divine and human natures, which are uncereated and created, both co-exist in His unique, uncereated divine person.
: 3. In fact I hsd asked the question:
: "Is the human nature or the flesh of Jesus Christ made/created?"
: on http://forums.catholic.com/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/Catholicism/
: Many Catholic friends there also answered yes. :-)
They are right. As you can see from the teachings of Church Fathers I have provided to Laurence, it is Orthodox teaching.
: 4. I keep having questions which are getting closer to Christology:
: Would you like to join the discussion and provide answers there?
I think you have enough testaments from Catholic side already. Who so ever denies that Chirist has a created human nature just like us, execpt sin, is out side of Catholic faith, just like LaurenceS. That is all. :)
