最近在帮国三生(九年级)复习，麻辣的复习卷(A)上
有一题如下
New York is bigger than ______ in the USA.
(A)any city (B)any other cities (C) all the cities (D)every city
答案是(B) 可是参考八年级 第四册 不定数量代名词
" any other + 单数名词 "....
让我有点搞混了 希望版帮我解释一下
还有 (A)选项及 (D) 选项为什么不能??

because New York is one of the cities in the USA. :P

A.D好像用最高级比较恰当...(这只是我的感觉:P

因为一楼的原因 纽约是美国其中城市之一 所以答案要选的是"除了纽约之外的所有城市" all the other cities 和 anyother cities都可以 重点在于"除去纽约市" 所以有other一字

any other 接单数名词为宜，这题没有答案

any other亦可接可数复数名词，虽频率较低但不表示不适宜。
