You are copetitive not because you are capable but because you have your social capital. I did not realise it until I learnt that my graduate school mates and colleagues were from wealthy families. People diagnosed with depression have less emotional capital, which leads them to have less social capital. We struggle to live in this ungrateful world with lots of efforts. We spend lots of efforts just to breathe and stay alive. Yet those people without such emotional burden can go out to gain their
competition. We are tired and we want to stop living. In this world people pay to win.
