前阵子卢卡斯影业才宣布《星际大战》新三部曲会在 2022 推出，
并且将由《权力游戏》的主创搭挡 David Benioff 和 D.B. Weiss 来负责。
今天 Deadline 独家报导，主创搭挡 D&D 将因档期因素退出三部曲计画。
不过卢卡斯影业的 Kathleen Kennedy 在声明中提到她们仍希望 D&D
在未来行程允许时可以回归。
“David Benioff and Dan Weiss are incredible storytellers,. We
hope to include them in the journey forward when they are able to
step away from their busy schedule to focus on Star Wars.”
