TOS玩家如果也有玩过同样是Steam平台上面的单机游戏Shovel Knight的话,
大概一定会记得那个纯情的假反派鸟脸科学家怪咖骑士Plague Knight.

刚好TOS也有R7职业 Plague Doctor. 为什么两者名字里面不过碰巧都有
个 Plague 单字,就得连造型都那么相像呢?

其实 Plague 原来就是指鼠疫,也就是历史上三次大流行夺走数千万人类性命的黑死病.
两个游戏里面的Plague Doctor/Plague Knight的造型(长袍+鸟喙面具),
则是忠实来自于17世纪,为了医治和预防鼠疫而戴上防毒面具的医生形象.
看来像似鸟喙的部位其实里面塞满了过滤病菌的药草.
