纳达尔：德约科维奇“更痴迷于”大满贯数量 我和他的野心不一样

当地时间周一，纳达尔在接受《地铁报》的一段采访中引起轩然大波，在2021法网开赛之
前，西班牙球王重申自己征战职业网坛的动机，并将自己与老对手德约科维奇争夺冠军的
方式进行了比较。纳达尔在采访中透露：德约科维奇“更痴迷于”自己名下拥有多少座大
满贯头衔。
红土之王纳达尔在上周的蒙特卡洛大师赛止步于八强，1/4决赛他负于卢布列夫，新赛季
首站红土赛事无缘问鼎。距2021法网开赛还有40天的时间里，纳达尔还将参加巴塞罗那、
马德里与罗马站的争夺。
在接受《地铁报》的专访时，纳达尔谈到了与费德勒、德约科维奇三巨头之间的竞争。根
据西班牙人的说法，德约科维奇是最“沈迷”于大满贯数量竞争的一人。
“我喜欢我所做的，我喜欢打球，很高兴来到蒙特卡洛再次参加重大赛事，当然，我也想
赢得更多的大满贯，这毫无疑问。但我从来没有…我的意思是诺瓦克对这个(大满贯数量)
更着迷、更专注，对他来说这些事情意义重大。”
“就像他经常说的，谈到这些纪录，他做得很出色…但这不是我征战网球生涯的方式。我
有一个’正面’的抱负，当然我也野心勃勃，如果不是的话，我也不会有今天的成就，但
我的野心可能和他不一样。”
“我只是继续前进，继续做我正在做的事情，试着让自己出一个位置，继续享受巡回赛，
当然还要试图获得尽可能多的东西。”
“我对我现在的职业生涯很满意，不是今天，而是几年前我就很满意了，但我不会因此后
退一步。如果我输掉一场比赛，我不会感到沮丧，我会试着用一种不同的方式来处理这件
事。”
今年法网，纳达尔将向赛会第14冠发起冲击，但西班牙人坚持说，并不是这些“数字”驱
使自己不断前进。
“我知道有些数字是完全疯狂的，但我从来没有想过这些数字，与此同时，我也没有太多
时间去思考这些数字。希望在我职业生涯的最后，停止做现在做的事情时，我将有时间来

Novak Djokovic is "more obsessed" about how many Grand Slam titles he has to h
is name, according to his rival Rafael Nadal.
The Spaniard may have 86 ATP titles, 20 Grand Slams, 209 weeks at number one i
n the world rankings and Olympic gold medals in both singles and doubles, but
he believes Djokovic is more desperate to ensure that he ends up with the best
numbers to his name.
Djokovic, the youngest of the ‘Big Three’, trails both Nadal and Roger Feder
er in Grand Slam titles, with 18 compared to their hauls of 20. But according
to Nadal, the world number one is the most "obsessed" with that stat.
"I enjoy what I am doing, I am happy playing tennis," Nadal told the Metro. "I
am happy about being here in Monte Carlo [where he was beaten in the quarter-
finals by Andrey Rublev] to play a great event again and, of course, I want to
win more Slams, yes. No doubt about that.

OT IN A NEGATIVE WAY. NO, HE’S MORE FOCUSED ON JUST THESE THINGS AND IT MEANS
A LOT TO HIM ALL OF THIS STUFF.
"Like he’s always saying and talking about these records and well done for hi
m… but it’s not my approach to my tennis career.
"I have a healthy ambition. Of course, I am ambitious, if not I would never be
in the position I am today but I have probably a different kind of ambition t
han him, for example.
"I just keep going, keep doing what I’m doing and just try to put myself in a
position to keep enjoying the tour and, of course, try to achieve as much as
possible.
"I am super satisfied about the career I’m having. Not today, I was super sat
isfied years ago already but I am not making a step back in motivation because
of that. I don’t get frustrated if I am losing one tournament, I am trying t
o approach the thing in a different way."
Nadal will be eyeing his 14th title at Roland Garros - a tally which is alread
y unprecedented - but he has insisted that it is not the numbers that drive hi
m.
"I know some of the numbers are completely crazy and I could never dream at al
l about these numbers," he continued. "At the same time, I never had a lot of
time to think about numbers.
"Hopefully at the end of my career, when I stop doing what I am doing, I’m go
ing to have the time to analyse more these things. Today, I’m just focused to
try and keep going.
"Tennis, it goes quick. We have a lot of tournaments throughout the year and,
for example, during this clay-court season I’m playing in Monte Carlo, Barcel
ona and then probably Madrid and Rome and then Roland Garros so it’s not plen
ty of time to enjoy success or to think about, 'I have this. I have won this'.
"Okay, I know I had a lot of success in this part of the season but in the pas
t. This year is another year. The only thing that I’m doing is try to play an
d practise every day with the right attitude and try to put myself in a positi
on again to be very competitive in the beginning."
