Your government is going to invest in the following three fields. Which one do you think is the most worthwhile? Why?
1. land exploration;
2. education; or
3. healthcare.

Personally, I think investing in education is the most worthwhile.
理由一: 有更好的教育，有些国民也许会成为专家，能提供各种新的土地开发科技的知识。
With better education, some citizens may become experts who contribute to knowledge of various new land exploration technologies.
理由二: 同样地，如果一般大众获得更好的教育，他们更有可能会采用更健康的饮食，减轻政府的医疗负担。
Likewise, if the general public receive better education, they are more likely to adopt a healthier regimen and reduce the burden of healthcare on the government.
高分范例：
就我的看法，我认为投资教育是最值得的。这对土地开发、医疗以及许多其他方面有益。
有更好的教育，有些国民也许会成为专家，能提供各种新的土地开发科技的知识。同样地
，如果一般大众获得更好的教育，他们更有可能会采用更健康的饮食，减轻政府的医疗负

家长应该劝阻学生选择太过竞争、未来很难找工作的领域，像是体育或娱乐界。
请使用确切的理由与例子来支持你的答案。
解题思路：
选择: 就我个人而言，我认为家长不应该劝退孩子，让他们打消念某些主修的念头。
In my opinion, I think parents shouldn't dissuade children from certain fields.
理由一: 一个原因是虽然某些领域的竞争很激烈，相对安全的领域也有可能在多年后会变得很竞争，而没人知道未来会怎样。
One reason is that although competition in those fields is fierce, a relatively safe field may become more competitive years later, and nobody knows the future.
理由二: 此外，如果家长让孩子自己选择，他们就会像成熟的成年人一样负起全部责任，而不会怪父母害他们做出差劲的选择。
Also, if parents let children choose for their life, they would take full responsibilities like mature adults should, without blaming parents for their poor choices.
