Reading
Listening
sculpture、hydrophone、William Wordsworth的诗、glial cells and neurons,还有一
Speaking
1. Describe one or two ways your life may change five years from now. Please
include specific reasons and details in your response.
2. In a workplace, do you think the employer should constantly supervise the
employees or is it better that the employer only checks on the employees
occasionally? Please include specific reasons and details in your response.
3. mail: acquirement for assignments will change
R1: should read assigned materials before class
R2: will help students' final papers
Man, agrees
(1) reduce discussion time in class since students already know what topic
they should discuss
(2) really help final papers because students don't need to rush to find out
the paper topic and could have more time to complete
5. No kitchen in the man's new renting house, eating out is expensive
S1: cook meals in his friend's house, inconvenient, going to his friend's
house every day is strange
S2:school cafeteria meal plan, cafeteria is far away from his house
陈述性记忆 declarative memory : know fact, e.g. know
Roosevelt was America's president
程序性记忆 procedural memory : know how to do something but can't explain why
know, e.g. ride a bike
Writing
Integrated Task
→R
T:shafts in Great Pyramids have three purposes
1. During the process of building, workers found themselves hard to breathe,
so built in order to breathe
2. religious purpose:
kings could associate with gods or stars
3. passageways:
let the king's spirit leave his body and travel outside
→L
T:we can't really ensure the purposes
1. have pairs of shafts but all far from the top for several meters,
2. They connected with gods or stars in their later life, but shafts are
built in their earlier life
3. They could build symbolic passageways:
build on the surface of walls and no need to open, the king's spirit could
travel through the wall.
Independent Task
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
The most important thing for government to improve health care is to clean
the environment .
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
http://chloeyachun.blogspot.tw/2012/03/sop.html
