A class action lawsuit has been filed against ASML Holding (ASML, Financial). The deadline for any lead plaintiff applicants against ASML is set for January 13, 2025. The Gross Law Firm represents investors, and on December 30, 2024, the filing announced that shareholders who purchased shares of ASML between January 24, 2024, and October 15, 2024, should participate.
It complains that ASML issued misleading statements and failed to disclose critical information about the semiconductor industry's woes. Specifically, the lawsuit says ASML failed to disclose how bad things got at suppliers and did not emphasize the slow pace of recovery in the semiconductor market.
