“The Civic Awareness and Political Participation forum,” held by Formosa
Salon, will take place on June 28th at UCL Christopher Ingold Chemistry
Lecture Theatre. We expect to hear opinions from different angles and to
examine the structural problem Taiwan’s society is currently facing and to
discuss the possible solutions for the deadlock of our civic movement. We
sincerely hope that the panel discussions we are going to give tomorrow could
enlighten our audience and enable us to rethink the concept of civic
consciousness—to rethink the duty and right inhering in each citizen.
