The Account Manager (AM) works to increase new customer base and achieve
financial growth for the company. AM identifies new business opportunities,
builds key customer relationships, negotiates and closes business deals. AM
acts as the primary customer contact and works with the internal teams to
structure a satisfactory solution to customer and close the business. AM
calls on clients, often being required to make presentations on solutions and
services that meet clients’ needs.
Job description:
‧ Oversee latest market trends to identify new opportunities and adjust
company position for growing new business
‧ Responsible for leads generation and screen all suspect accounts, follow
up closely in order to convert potential prospects to customers.
‧ Communicate with customers as main contact during all phases of business
relationship from client requirement to solution delivery
‧ Update and present company presentation profile per customer situation,
host factory tours, conduct price quotation, and negotiate contracts
‧ Provide solution and price quotation to customers and close the business
‧ Lead cross-functional teams (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing,
quality, finance and stockroom) to meet customer’s expectation for
components purchasing, manufacturing, quality control, production scheduling
and delivery.
‧ Interface with customers from early design phase to go through design
process and reach maximum manufacturability
‧ Analyze and understand customers’ business strategy, future product
plans, expansion activities and align company’s value services to win the
business
‧ Maintain close communications and Conducts regular meeting/ quarterly
business review meetings (QBR)with customer as appropriate
‧ Utilize SAP ERP system for logistics/production planning and inventory
management on daily basis
Qualifications:
‧ 2-3 years equivalent sales experience; STEM preferred
‧ Excellent writing/verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal
skills
‧ Team player with creativity, passion and self- motivated with challenges
and tight time schedules
‧ Proficient in Word/Excel/Power Point; familiar with SAP is a plus
‧ Mandarin speaking is a plus
‧ Must be able AND willing to learn new skills and engineering technology
