Responsibility:
A Forum Support Engineer provides high quality technical support of Microsoft
server products to Microsoft global partners, applies advanced
troubleshooting skills to handle hot or difficult issues, and delivers high
quality CPE through timely response, resolution, collaboration and execution
Requirements:
Using strong reading and writing skills of supported language, and solid
knowledge and skills on Microsoft products/programs supported to provide
forum support on Cloud Platform & Productivity, including the following
activities as needed:
★ Technical
‧Be familiar with partner forum support tool and understand the
workflow of JP PSC support / review / escalation process
‧Provide quick response & resolution of partner issues
‧Represent Microsoft and communicate with partners via written correspondence
and electronic service in a timely manner
‧Collaborate on cross-team and cross-product technical issues by
working with resources from other groups as needed to resolve partner issues
★ Japanese
‧Understand Japanese customer’s purpose and requirement not only
from the literal meaning but also try to understand the meaning behind words.
‧Grasp the accurate MS Japanese wording using rule according to
Japanese style guide.
‧Good Japanese reading & writing skill.
‧Proper manner to Japanese customer (Including proper greetings.)
‧Always use different writing style to adapt to different Japanese
customer instead of using templates.
★ Other
‧Proactively learn advanced technologies and deliver good quality
of technical support. Maintain working knowledge of new products
‧Compliance with the service operation processes for execution excellence
‧Adherence to the Microsoft Business Code of Conduct in all customer
interactions and interactions with Microsoft
‧Strict adherence to data privacy guidelines – never putting customer
PII at risk
