The NBA announced Friday afternoon that it has fined Miami Heat center Chris
Bosh $5,000 for violating the league's anti-flopping policy during Game 4 of
the 2013 NBA Finals on Thursday.
The penalized play took place at the 6:07 mark of the second quarter of
Miami's big 109-93 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night. Here

Bosh is the eighth player to receive a flopping fine this postseason. He
joins Derek Fisher, Jeff Pendergraph, J.R. Smith, Tony Allen, LeBron James,
David West and Lance Stephenson.
The league hasn't yet hit a player with a second flopping fine during the
playoffs. A repeat offense would trigger a $10,000 fine in accordance with
the NBA's stricter postseason flopping punishments. Third and fourth
violations would cost $15,000 and $30,000, respectively.
While the second-quarter flop and subsequent non-halftime-buzzer-beating dunk
weren't exactly highlights for Bosh, the All-Star big man bounced back to
turn in his best game in more than a month, scoring 20 points on 8 for 14
shooting, grabbing 13 rebounds, blocking two shots, grabbing two steals and
playing stellar defense in 38 strong minutes as the Heat evened up the
best-of-seven Finals at two games apiece.
