The Twins have struck a deal with Korean first baseman Byung-ho Park, Jon
Heyman of CBSSports.com reports on Twitter. He’ll receive a four-year, $12MM
contract, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports tweets.
Minnesota had won the rights to negotiate with the KBO star after promising a
posting bid of $12.85MM, and a deal was said to be highly likely. The club’s
total commitment, then, will be just under $25MM.
