Collins predicts Santana will start opener
Mets manager Terry Collins predicted Tuesday that Johan Santana (shoulder)
will start on Opening Day.
"I'm my mind, in my heart, he'll be ready," Collins told a group of reporters
in Mets camp. Santana has been throwing bullpen sessions since last week
without any lingering pain or discomfort. The hope is that he'll be able to
make around 25 starts this season.
