after the free agent Yankee captain placed a personal ad on Craigslist.com,
outlining that he is ‘totally available’ for teams in the market for subpar
defense, average hitting, and highlighted that he would be willing to fill
that position for only $25 million/year.

- Hard worker, especially when grossly overpaid
- Great leader, with a willingness to eat up as much payroll as possible
- Highly motivated by winning, and even more so by $25 million
- Experience receiving large sums of money for no apparent reason
- Willingness to jump while throwing the ball, no matter how unnecessary

Talks between Jeter and the Yankees broke down last week after the Yankees
were unable to obtain the necessary spaceship required to meet Jeter in
