Last week was the official registration week, but I learned today that it has
been extended this year.
The last chance to register will now be 8/29~31, next week from Tues to Thurs.
After that they will decide which classes can open, based on the number of
people registered.
So anyone who'd like to attend Poetry & Song this fall semester, please
register at the college Tues, Weds, or Thurs!
课程介绍(里面有介绍上课方式)
We will explore original and translated poetry and song from around the
world! Each class, an English language song or poem will serve as the basis
for pair, small group, and class conversations.
Students will become acquainted with many different forms of poetry and
verse, learn new vocabulary, and use English to discuss not only the ideas in
the poems and songs but also their own thoughts.
目前注册人数只有四位
如果还没有再多一点人
可能就开不成课了

补充一下推荐的原因:
一般要找到外师教英文课程
其实只要肯花钱就一定找的到
但要找到有能力教学文化内涵的议题
其实非常不容易
一来老师本身要有足够的文化涵养
再来对课程的设计跟呈现也需要有经验
借由课堂的讨论
学习者可以更深入了解欧美的文化与生活
而且也训练思考跟赏析能力
这是传统纯语言课程无法涵括的面向
上课采自由发言
或是分组讨论
所以其实很可以借由发言训练口说跟逻辑
说多说少其实都没关系
也有歌曲欣赏与歌唱
我们去年就学了很多传统美国圣诞节会唱的歌曲
你会发现有些歌单
跟台湾听得到的传统耶诞歌曲差很多
